Reuse Swap Store Was Vandalized
It is with a heavy heart that we share some very upsetting news. Recently, our Reuse Swap store was deliberately vandalized. Individuals pulled down our clothes rack and sprayed the entire area with a fire extinguisher, leaving the space in disarray. A police report has already been filed, and we are taking the necessary steps to clean up and strengthen security.
This store was created for the community — a place where everyone can freely donate, swap, and pick up pre-loved items in a spirit of trust and kindness. Acts of vandalism like this do not just damage property; they harm the spirit of giving that this project is built upon.
We want to be very clear:
Vandalism is not acceptable. It causes real harm, wastes community resources, and destroys something that many people truly benefit from.
We ask everyone to respect this shared space so it can continue serving those who need it most. If you see suspicious activity around the store, please help by reporting it.
Despite this incident, we remain committed to our mission of reducing waste and encouraging reuse. We believe in the community, and we know that most people value and support what we are doing.
Thank you to everyone who continues to donate, swap, and care for the space. Together, we can rebuild — and protect — this little corner of positivity.
