Environmental Metrics from Reuse Swap Initiative

Through our Reuse Swap project, community members donate and pick up pre-loved items for free. By extending the life of clothes, toys, books, and household goods, we help reduce waste, cut carbon emissions, and conserve resources — showing that small local actions can make a big environmental impact.

Understanding Our Results

Total Items: The total number of pre-loved items that found a new home instead of ending up as waste.

CO₂ Saved: The estimated greenhouse gas emissions avoided by reusing existing items instead of producing new ones.

Carbon Credits: Equivalent CO₂ reduction that could be recognized as certified carbon offsets.

Water Conserved: The water footprint avoided from textile manufacturing and production of new household goods.

Trees Equivalent: The number of mature trees that would absorb the same amount of CO₂ in a year.

These metrics reflect the combined environmental benefit of our community’s sharing actions. Every reused item contributes to a more circular, less wasteful society.
